Laura writes: Born and raised in New York City, I spend most of my time painting in Manhattan and in the small town of Amagansett, New York. My art work centers around the onlineslotsmob.com way light interacts with the flesh. Through selected wavelengths of light (represented by ultramarine blue, Naples yellow and cadmium red) and defined structures (produced by the photonic and electromagnetic properties of light), images on canvas are created. I have studied with Andrew Castrucci and Peter Fiore at the School of Visual Arts.

As an extension of my art, I hold a graduate degree in physics where I explore the use of various optical techniques as a method to investigate disease. I have published more than 30 manuscripts on light specifically in the areas of photonics, ultrafast spectroscopy and lasers.
