Viktor Koen has a solo exhibition, “Bestiary: Bizarre Myths and Chimerical Fancies” on view now at United Photo Industries. Drawing from the pictorial collection of the US Library of Congress, Koen concocts “a deformed pantheon” of mythical characters while exploring the languages of early photography and archival preservation.
